Important Notice

You have the right to permanently delete your Studyix account and all associated personal data. Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. Please read this page carefully before proceeding with your deletion request.

This page complies with Google Play Store User Data – Account Deletion Requirement policy and applicable data protection regulations.

How to Delete Your Account

Option 1: Delete Account via Mobile App

  1. Open the Studyix mobile application on your device
  2. Navigate to Settings (usually found in the profile or menu section)
  3. Select "Account Settings" or "Privacy Settings"
  4. Find and tap on "Delete Account" or "Deactivate Account"
  5. Follow the on-screen instructions to confirm your account deletion
  6. Enter your password or provide additional verification if prompted
  7. Confirm that you understand the deletion is permanent

Option 2: Request Deletion via Email

  1. Send an email to our support team at contact@studyix.com
  2. Use the subject line: "Account Deletion Request"
  3. Include the following information in your email:
    • Your registered email address
    • Your username (if applicable)
    • Confirmation that you want to permanently delete your account
    • Any additional verification information we may request
  4. We will verify your identity and process your request
  5. You will receive a confirmation email once your account deletion is processed

What Data Will Be Deleted

When you delete your account, the following data will be permanently removed from our systems:

  • Profile Information: Your name, username, email address, profile picture, and other profile data
  • Quiz Activity: Your quiz attempts, scores, results, and performance history
  • Progress Data: Your learning progress, course enrollments, bookmarks, and study materials
  • Leaderboard Records: Your rankings and leaderboard entries
  • Rewards and Coins: Your earned rewards, coins, and virtual currency balance
  • Preferences: Your app settings, notification preferences, and language settings
  • Social Data: Your comments, interactions, and social connections within the platform

Data Retention and Legal Requirements

In certain circumstances, we may be required to retain certain data for legal or compliance purposes:

  • Financial Records: Transaction records, payment information, and billing data may be retained as required by financial regulations and tax laws for a period of up to 7 years
  • Legal Obligations: Data may be retained if required by law, court order, or to comply with legal processes
  • Security and Fraud Prevention: Limited data may be retained for security purposes, fraud prevention, and to protect the integrity of our platform

Note: Any retained data will be anonymized where possible and will not be used for any purpose other than legal compliance or security. Personal identifiers will be removed to the extent permitted by law.

Deletion Timeframe

We process account deletion requests within the following timeframe:

  • Initial Processing: Your deletion request will be acknowledged within 48 hours of receipt
  • Verification: We will verify your identity and account ownership, which may take 2-5 business days
  • Complete Deletion: Your account and associated data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of verification

You will receive email confirmation at each stage of the deletion process. If you do not receive confirmation within the stated timeframe, please contact our support team.

Important: Please ensure you have backed up any data you wish to keep before requesting account deletion. Once your account is deleted, you will not be able to recover any information, including quiz results, progress, or rewards.

Additional Information

What Happens After Deletion?

After your account is deleted, you will no longer be able to access the Studyix platform using your previous credentials. You may create a new account at any time, but you will need to start fresh with no access to your previous data, progress, or rewards.

Canceling a Deletion Request

If you change your mind after submitting a deletion request, you may cancel it by contacting our support team at contact@studyix.com within 7 days of your request, provided the deletion has not yet been processed.
