Overview

At Studyix, we are committed to providing transparent and fair refund policies for all our users. This policy outlines the conditions under which refunds are provided for quiz registrations, contest fees, wallet top-ups, and other transactions on our platform. Please read this policy carefully before making any purchases.

1. Refund Eligibility

To be eligible for a refund, your transaction must meet the following criteria:

Timeline: Refund requests must be submitted within 30 days of the transaction date
Transaction Status: Only completed/successful transactions are eligible for refunds
Service Utilization: Services that have not been fully consumed may be eligible for partial or full refunds (see specific categories below)

2. Eligible Transactions

2.1 Quiz Registration Fees

Before Quiz Starts: Full refund available if requested at least 2 hours before the scheduled quiz time
Technical Issues: Full refund if you experienced platform technical issues that prevented quiz completion
After Starting: No refund available once the quiz has been started, unless due to technical issues on our end

2.2 Live Contest Fees

Before Contest: Full refund if contest is cancelled by platform
User Cancellation: Refund available if cancelled at least 24 hours before contest start time
After Contest Starts: No refund available

2.3 Wallet Top-Ups

Duplicate Payments: Full refund for accidental duplicate top-ups
Unused Balance: Refund available for unused wallet balance within 7 days of top-up
Partially Used: Refund of remaining balance only (actual top-up minus used amount)

2.4 Voucher Purchases

Unused Vouchers: Full refund available within 14 days if voucher is not redeemed
Redeemed Vouchers: No refund available once voucher code is revealed or redeemed

3. Non-Refundable Items

The following items are not eligible for refunds:

Completed Quizzes: Any quiz that has been started and completed
Consumed Vouchers: Vouchers that have been redeemed or codes revealed
Promotional Credits: Free credits, bonus coins, or promotional rewards
Discounted Purchases: Items purchased using discount codes or during special offers (unless explicitly stated otherwise)
Contest Winnings: Rewards or prizes won through contests
Study Materials: Digital content that has been accessed or downloaded

Note: The platform reserves the right to deny refund requests for transactions that show signs of fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, follow these steps:

Submit Request: Visit our Refund Request Page and fill out the request form with transaction details

Review Period: Our team will review your request within 3-5 business days

Decision Notification: You'll receive an email notification regarding approval or rejection

Processing: If approved, refund will be processed within 5-7 business days

  • • Bank/UPI Credit: 2-3 business days after processing
  • Total Timeline: 10-15 business days

5. Refund Methods

Refunds will be processed using the following methods:

5.1 Original Payment Method (Default)

Refunds are typically credited back to the original payment method used for the transaction:

  • • Credit/Debit Card: 5-7 business days
  • • UPI: 2-3 business days
  • • Net Banking: 5-7 business days
  • • Wallet Payments: 3-5 business days

5.2 Bank Transfer

If the original payment method is unavailable or expired, we can process refunds via direct bank transfer. You'll need to provide:

  • • Bank account number
  • • IFSC code
  • • Account holder name (must match registered name)

5.3 UPI Transfer

For faster processing, we can credit refunds to your registered UPI ID. Ensure your UPI ID is updated in your profile settings.

Important: Refunds cannot be processed to third-party accounts. All refunds must be credited to an account in the name of the registered user.

6. Cancellation Policy

6.1 Quiz/Contest Cancellation by User

Users can cancel their quiz or contest registrations under the following conditions:

  • • Quizzes: At least 2 hours before scheduled start time - Full refund
  • • Contests: At least 24 hours before scheduled start time - Full refund
  • • Late cancellations (after above deadlines): No refund, but may receive credit for future use

6.2 Cancellation by Platform

If Studyix cancels or reschedules a quiz or contest, users will receive:

  • • Full refund of registration fees
  • • Option to transfer registration to rescheduled date/time
  • • Bonus credits equal to 10% of registration fee as compensation
  • • Email notification at least 24 hours prior (when possible)

6.3 Account Cancellation

If you choose to delete your Studyix account:

  • • Unused wallet balance: Refundable within 30 days of account creation
  • • Promotional credits: Not refundable
  • • Active registrations: Must be cancelled separately before account deletion
  • • Refund processing: 7-10 business days after account deletion confirmation

7. Special Circumstances

7.1 Technical Issues

If you experience technical issues that prevent you from completing a quiz or contest due to our platform:

  • • Report the issue immediately via support
  • • Provide screenshots or error messages (if applicable)
  • • Full refund will be provided after verification
  • • Alternative: Option to retake quiz/contest at no extra cost

7.2 Duplicate Payments

In case of accidental duplicate payments:

  • • Report within 48 hours of transaction
  • • Automatic refund of duplicate amount within 5 business days
  • • No questions asked, instant approval

7.3 Incorrect Amount Charged

If you were charged incorrectly:

  • • Report within 7 days with transaction details
  • • Refund of excess amount after verification (3-5 business days)
  • • Apology bonus credit equal to 5% of excess charged

7.4 Force Majeure

In cases of events beyond our control (natural disasters, government orders, pandemics, etc.):

  • • Scheduled events may be postponed or cancelled with full refunds
  • • Extended refund request deadlines may be granted
  • • Users will be notified via email and platform notifications
